From Humble Beginnings

The name and Logo of 10K Holdings is born out of a family of 14 children of which have 10 brothers and 4 sisters. The Tree Logo (Baobab Tree) represents the family tree of which the children were born and the 10 represents the 10 brothers. The K represent the family heritage of which is the Khoi-San.

Our Vision is to undertake and implement works that reflect best practice, Safety & Efficiency through the application of Sustainable & Innovative Solutions.

Our Mission is to undertake and implement best practice together of empowering of the local candidates from the community through the engagements of candidate built environments professionals through skills development programs and skill transfers. Managing Director

Jerome Simons has more than 22 years’ experience in various fields in the Engineering fraternity.

He was appointed to Head of department as Maintenance Manager in the Perway infrastructure department with Transnet Freight Rail (2011), oversee the maintenance of 1 470km of Transnet Rail Network (Bellville depot) and a staff compliment of over 330 personnel. His main responsibilities entailed among other the implementation of maintenance strategies, ensure asset reliability matches operational requirements, Operational readiness of assets and manage departmental budgets in line with business requirements.

He joined Rail Fen Maintenance (Pty) Ltd in 2016 to 2017 as Contract Manager and FM Civils (Pty) Ltd as Site Manager in 2018 where he oversees the construction management of projects as well as Site manager on the erection and construction of roads, storage facilities and warehouses.

In September 2018, he joined MOWANA Engineers (Pty) Ltd in the capacity as Professional Register (ECSA) Senior Engineering Manager in the Roads and Transportation Divisions of the company.
